Can't Hug Every Cat

Sorry to break the news so late, but I got back on the 6th of July. I've just been doing my other blog so I didn't really have time to do this blog. Sadly, this will be my last post and since all the feedback I've had about my blog is 'How was the cat holiday?' I decided to put up a cat video from youtube to end my time blogging. Oh, and don't forget to check out my youtube channel too as I have a couple of cool videos on that. So, without further delay, enjoy the very last video and post I will put on this blog:

PS. If I go on another trip to Europe, I will definately be back and blogging on this blog!

Mousehole... What a Name for a Town!

Yes, you heard me, Mousehole is a name of a town in England.

Look out, Mousehole! Here comes a cat!
A little beach in Mousehole.
A cat we saw there.
'The Mousehole' is a shop in Mousehole.
We only went to Mousehole for the day and for a walk but it was still fun.
What do you think of Mousehole?

What a Surprise... NOT!

Well, lookie lookie what I found everyone. Yes, it's a little ball of fur that makes a sound like *meow*, has pointy ears and glow-in-the-dark eyes that come with the package. Yes it's a C-A-T. Cat.
I'm expecting you're going *ugh*, yet another cat on this blog. And... wait for it... there were THREE cats. Yep, three cats, first there was one...

She looks just like Cloud.
Then there was another one...

He looks white, but really has a black tail and a black spot.

And then yet another one...

Do you like cats?

General Update

I am so sorry I haven't been able to post on my blog for so long. I just haven't had the internet to do it. So I'll just do a general update on what's been happening the past week or so.
First of all we are now in England again. We firstly went to see our cousins for the weekend who had a cat called Gurty. A cross breed but definately had some Maine Coon in her. An extremely playful cat but really was just such a poser.

Gurty.
After seeing the cousins, we went to see my great auntie who is 95. Then we went to see my dad's cousin and he showed us his boat and walked his dogs.  After that we went to Worthing and saw grandparents, aunties and uncles at a family curry dinner. We then went to one of the aunties' house and saw their dog Pip.

Pip. What a happy dog!
Pip was rescued from the pound and is now alot better than when they got her. We don't know what sort of dog she is but she is definately a mix breed.
The next day from the curry we went to see some relatives who had two cats (Chester and Google) and a squirrel. They have requested for their cats to be on my blog so here they are:

Chester
Google

This isn't a picture of Cyril from the day we went, but from a previous visit to them. We couldn't get any pictures of him from the latest visit because he didn't turn up.

Cyril the squirrel.
We drove to Didmarton in Gloucestershire and stayed in a little two bedroom cottage that slept about six if needed. As you walked in, There was a living room with a small TV and squishy sofas. Off to the left a bit further up there was a small kitchen with all essential needs included. In the middle of the living room there was a staircase going halfway up and the rest of the way it separated going either side. To the right was mine and my brothers' room and to the left was mum and dads' room. Also to the left was a bathroom with again all essential needs included. When we were staying there we had another family get-together at a pub and I had a massive burger. It was so big I just couldn't finish it as much as I wanted to.
The day after that we went to Stroud to get my brother some cricket gear and I got a gigantic weighted hula-hoop while we were at it. It even had little waves in it to help it stay on (not that I need them).
And then the day after that we went to see my mum's friend in Churchdown who she hadn't seen for... quite a while. They just chatted while everyone else sat there and read or sometimes joined in.
Then there was the three hour drive down to Cornwall, near Penzance Newlyn. A journey in the metal beast over the hard black wasteland... Luckily at the end of the car trip we get to where we are staying and are now currently in a bigger cottage with sea views and window seats. Everyone also gets their OWN ROOM!!! Such a luxury these days in the world of travel where siblings are always there right next to you. Literally, they are always there. Always in the same room as you. But anyway, enough of that, I get my own room now and I am the only one with a window seat in their room. I also have nearly the most storage and the third best room (or the second worst, in other words).
Front room.
Ivy covered front wall.
A bedroom.
The courtyard.
Well then, would you have liked to have done what I've been doing during the past week or so? And which part is your favorite? I sure enjoyed it!

Pet Sick!

Oh dear, I'm getting pet sick (meaning I'm missing all our pets). I am starting to wonder if they will actually remember us as well as they did and whether they'll not like us for going away. Above all that, I'm just plain missing them all! Maybe it will help to put up a few photos of them...

Jock, our Border Collie X Kelpie dog.

Naughty Jock, missing his tag again!

Toffie, my Cashmier X Boer goat.
Lucy, my brothers' Labrador Retriever dog.
Zimmie, our Anglo Nubian goat.
All our beautiful chooks.
Lucca, our Siamese X cat.
All our lovely cows.
Zorro (left) and Eloshio (right), our two cockatiels.
It made me a bit happier writing about our animals, but it made me sad at the same time. Wouldn't you be sad if you had to stay 14 weeks away from your pet(s)? I know I certainly am ;(

Longleat Safari Park

Yesterday we planned to go to Longleat today. So we did go to Longleat.
It was beautiful weather with hardly a cloud to be seen. But, you may be thinking, why Longleat? What is Longleat?
I will tell you. Longleat is a Safari park for people to drive around seeing all the animals or get lost in a maze. For people to wander through Lord Longleats' house or go buy a massive piece of chocolate cake.
So today we were off to Longleat. And boy, did we have fun. It was a great day for it, too. Very little wind and a nice bright sun.
Well, I had better put some pictures up then!

A pretty zebra.
What a looong  tongue.
Anne the elephant.
You may have heard of Anne. If you haven't, here is a bit of background information on her.
Anne used to be kept in a circus. She was abused by her keeper by being hit constantly, her feet being chained together, made to do things that she didn't want to do and many more disturbing things. She used to be miserable and unhappy.
But now Longleat Safari Park has saved her from this terror. Anne is now in a safe spot where she will never be abused again and will live for the rest of her days. An old elephant deserves happiness.
Here is a video of her enjoying herself in her new home:

A sleepy tiger.
Feeding the deer.
What a Funky Monkey!
\
A Bongo.
You wouldn't want to get in the bad books of that rhino!
Some lions.
And to finish, some wolves!
Longleat was so fun today. I do hope we go there again and do all the things we missed out on!

Parthenon at the Acropolis

I woke up today feeling lovely and refreshed. It was a good day to feel refreshed, too, for we were going to do alot of walking that day. After getting dressed and ready, I went downstairs with mum and dad to have a beautiful breakfast. It was a buffet and I had some scrambled egg, boiled egg, a croissant, some bacon and two pancakes. I loved it and that built up my energy for the days' walking, so I was all set. It was really quite a long walk there. Mum and dad think it was about 3 kilometres from the hotel to the Parthenon. It certainly felt quite long. I seem to do a lot of walking around to most places these days because sometimes it isn't far and sometimes we don't even have a car. So we walked to the Parenthenon and saw a few sights on the way, like a few pigeons...

A pretty pigeon.
...and a few more pigeons!

A lot of pretty pigeons.
When we climbed the short staircase up to the front entrance, I saw a dog.

The dog.
I wasn't sure what sort of dog he was. He looked like he might have some German Shepherd, but that isn't too important (I thought he was cute by the way).  Dad bought some tickets for us all and we walked into the Parthenon. It wasn't too exciting at first, because it was just a pathway up to the actual building. Down next to the path there was the Odeum of Herodes. It was built in 161 AD and was used for plays and theatures. They still use it for a concert venue in Athens.

The Odeum of Herodes.
I walked along the path a bit more and saw some masive collums.

Some big collums.
Then I went up the path a bit more and saw the Panthenon itself. It was actually replacing the temple of Athena. Historians call the temple the Pre-Panthenon or the Older Panthenon and it was destroyed in the Persian Invasion in 480 BC. The Parthenon - like most Greek temples - was used as a treasury.

The Parthenon.
Then we wandered over to the temple of Athena Nike. Since Nike means 'victory' in Greek, she was worshipped in this manner. The Goddess was worshipped when they were vicotorious in war. It is being cleaned at the moment because it was destroyed by earthquakes like many old building around. There were some nice statues of women on the front. As I looked around at the side, I saw a dog just lying there relaxing or sleeping.

The dog sleeping.

Women statues.
Then I walked and saw a big doorway at the back.

A very big doorway.
After looking around at the temple of Athena Nike for a bit, we wandered up to a look out area. The view from there was awesome.

What a view!
After that we went to see the Theatre of Dionysus. It was built in about 500 BC and was the first to be built of stone.

The Theatre of Dionysus.
After looking at the theatre, we went started wandering back. On the way, we saw a cat having a lie down with a wooden plank as a pillow.

What a cute cat!
After looking at the cat we went back to our hotel by the underground tube. We could only go halfway, however, because the line wasn't finished. So we walked back the other half of the way and had supper at the restaurant. It was fun today at the Parthenon and I enjoyed seeing that exciting part of Athens.

Introducing...

Today not much happened. It was just a day of computer games and a bit of schoolwork, really. The only major thing that happened was at about 12:40am when I brought up my dinner. I won't go into details about exactly what happened, but I can tell you it wasn't nice. It only happened once because I think I overate. I did have two pieces of bread, one large bowl of spaghetti, two glasses of water, two shotglasses of cherryade and a small plate of two cherries, yoghurt and rosehip syrup. But anyway, let's not talk about that anymore, for it's not very pleasant. Since not much else happened today, I'll talk about cats instead. Yes, cats again. Cats this, cats that. It's all over my blog, I know, but I love them and I can't help but write about them.
Mum, dad and I all decided to name the cats that come to our villa a while ago, though I haven't really had a chance to tell you the names. I'll introduce them to you now:

Cloud, a cat that appears quite alot on my blog. Has been featured in "Eat the Stick" and "Awwww, a Cat". Is a tortoiseshell with the colours of white, brown and orange. Has green eyes and is quite friendly. She also just loves food:

Cloud
Shadow, a very deep black cat that has never been featured on my blog before. He is about as timid as Cloud, but has only come about twice. He had yellow eyes and is quite large for a Cretan cat.

Shadow
Socks, a grey and white cat with small white socks. He isn't as timid as Cloud or Shadow, but doesn't like it if you try to pick him up. He can't meow properly and when he tries it comes out as a squawk. He can purr and hiss very well, however as I have seen him do both well (purring directed at me, hissing directed at another cat). He has yellowish-green eyes. He is also Mums' and my favorite.

Socks
Rainstorm, a dark tabby that is extremely friendly towards me, but lashes out to Cloud. He will happily snuggle onto my lap and stay there as I pet him. He also has quite yellowish-green eyes and is very dominant over food.

Rainstorm

Patch, a white and grey cat  that is extremely timid and will not come anywhere near you. He will only come within two metres of you if you have some food in your hand. He will run if you throw the food and has only been seen twice. He again has yellowish-green eyes.

Patch
That is all I have for you today on my blog. Have a good day all of you reading this and I hope you weren't bored stiff from all the cats!
